Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of RustVision, a hosted Discord bot that connects to Rust game servers through the Rust+ companion API. By adding the bot or subscribing, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

RustVision provides server information, world-event tracking, team management, player intel and raid tools inside Discord. The service depends on third parties including Discord, the Rust+ API and game servers, which can change or become unavailable outside our control.

2. Subscription and trial

RustVision costs $5 per month per the plan shown at sign-up. New customers get a 7-day free trial. A payment card is collected at sign-up but is not charged during the trial. Paid billing starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorise us, through Stripe, to charge your chosen payment method on each renewal date. Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes do not affect the current billing period.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, after which the bot disconnects. Your settings are retained for a short grace period in case you return.

5. Refunds

The free trial lets you evaluate the service before paying. After the trial, monthly charges are generally non-refundable, except where you have a statutory right to a refund under applicable consumer law, or where we agree otherwise at our discretion. 6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service for any unlawful purpose;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service;
  • resell or redistribute access without our permission;
  • use the service to harass others or to breach Discord's or Facepunch's terms;
  • misuse player-intel features to stalk, dox or threaten real individuals.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

7. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the server details you provide and for keeping your Discord account secure. You must have the right to connect the Rust servers you pair with the bot.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages (including Discord and Rust+), and factors outside our control may cause downtime. The service is provided "as is" without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, RustVision is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for in-game outcomes, lost progress or raids. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. RustVision is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Facepunch Studios or Discord.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified to you.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
